Michelle Lim is a strategic, inquisitive, and purpose-led leader working at the intersection of Organisational Culture, Ethics, and Intersectional Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). With an academic background in Psychology and Neuroscience, she partners with executive leaders to address complex cultural challenges, uplift ethical decision-making, and embed systemic inclusion. Her approach focuses on the interplay between individual, societal, and cultural factors that shape institutions. By applying psychological and ethical frameworks, she leads strategy and change programs that enable sustainable, people-centred impact.
Michelle serves as a Non-Executive Board member of Ability Options, one of the largest disability and employment service providers in New South Wales. She is a Co-Founder and Board Director of Asian Australian Professionals Collective (AAPC), with a focus on Asian Australian professional representation in leadership across industries, acting as a peak body representing Asian Australian Professionals. Michelle also serves as a Board member of Just Governance, is a member of the Primary Ethics Engagement Committee and is on the Advisory Council of Vida Fund.
Prior to this, she was a management consultant advising a diverse portfolio of clients on Culture, Transformation & Change, Risk Culture, and Governance. Michelle is a LinkedIn Top Voice, named one of the 2022 40 under 40 Most Influential Asian Australians, a Dr John Yu Fellow for Leadership and Diversity (University of Sydney Business School), a William Ah Ket Leadership Scholar (ANU Centre for Asian-Australian Leadership), and an ASEAN-Australia Young Leader.
